My name is Matt, I live in Colorado and my cousin came down for the weekend from Texas to see me for the weekend. I am 16 years old and he is 26. So a couple of nights ago, Me and my girlfriend were kind of fighting and I was real bummed out so I told him I was gonna get drunk. He told me he had some better stuff, so I said ok and he gave me a cap full of this liquid, and I thought it was still alcohol because it was in a liquid form.

SO I took a capful and not even ten minutes later a couldn't even walk... I was soo scared I thought I was choking on my tongue and I started shaking really bad. After that I passed out out for about an hour and then got really sick.. I for one time in my life thought that I was going to die.. If anyone ever wants you to take GHB never try it if it has the same effect on you as it did me, its not worth it!! matt

On Wednesday, 10/08/2003 I woke up in a motel, naked and alone.

Thanks to what I was told at the emergency room, GHB is to blame. I had been slipped some GHB at a restaurant while waiting on some friends. Three days later I am still unaware of what happened to me. From the exam at the emergency room and the police investigation I know I was raped. What I do not know is by whom, or what all I was given, or what all was done to me.

At this point I am thankful in part that I can't remember the things that was done. However, I am angry that someone would be so sick enough to do this to a total stranger. I want to thank you for the information on your web site. I searched long and hard trying to find some valid information that could help me understand why I can't remember, or did not know that my drink had been drugged. I am truly sorry for the tragic loss of your son, but I am very thankful that you are trying to educate others about GHB.

Don't know what I would have done without this website. The information has helped me in realizing I would not have known what was going on, and all the other things that happened, I could never have stopped them. THANKS
