New Study:
 

GHB, also known as liquid X or G, causes dependence very rapidly. Dr. Karen Miotto, a UCLA physician, is conducting an inpatient research study seeking to find effective treatment for GHB withdrawal.

If you are between 18 and 55 years old, a regular user of GHB or a GHB analog, and want to participate in a research study examining medication for withdrawal, please call (310) 206-2782 for more information.

Study #2

Dr. Jo Dyer and University of California San Francisco researchers are recruiting Californians whose drug use includes GHB, gamma hydroxybutyrate, (or GHB-like substances GBL, GVL, GHV or BD) for a telephone interview and/or a focus group discussion about their experience.  Individuals will be reimbursed $50 for their time after completion of the interview and $150 for completion of the focus group discussion.  Focus Group meetings will be held in San Francisco.
