GHB has been an ongoing concern in Georgia, as in most states. Team Georgia’s law enforcement members will be making presentations in their region to bring about public awareness, prevention and improved medical/law enforcement response to GHB abuse, addiction, drunk/drugged driving, sexual assaults and death issues. They are also there for other law enforcement agencies seeking information or involvement. Georgia is also home to at least three facilities experienced at treating GHB addiction/withdrawal issues. Willingway Hospital, listed as a Team Georgia contact, has handled a number of GHB addiction cases. Ridgeview in Atlanta and Laurelwood in Gainesville have also seen GHB cases and are willing to handle these tough withdrawal
